This was an individual project to write an essay entitled "The use of XML in practice".
The requirements were for an essay of no more then 1200 words with a deviation of 10%. This project took a considerable amount of research, utilising the University of Limericks library resources.
This group project was to apply an Object-Oriented Analysis and Design method using the Unified Modelling Language to the specification of an enterprise software system.
Basically we had to invent a business scenario and create a design document for the business' software.
This project was to create a game design document outlining a game for first years in the Computer Science (CSIS) department of University of Limerick to play, with the overall objective of determining if those students are at risk Financially, Emotionally, or Academically.
The game had to be catchy while also serving its purpose of gathering information from the students.
This was an individual project to give us an introduction to OpenCV. For this project we had to decide on what OpenCV functionality we wanted to use and implement it.
I chose Canny Edge Detection for a live webcam feed and also for a still image.
The program was written in C++ using Visual Studio 2010.
