On this page you will find all the
games I have worked on. Some are college projects and others are personal projects.
Asteroid Attack
This project was a group project to create a game in C# using XNA Studio.
We were required to create a 2D game using the XNA framework. We were tasked with coming up with our own idea for the game and could make a copy of an existing game if we wanted.
This project was a class project to create the game engine for the
game battleship. We were supplied with a framework for the game. We
had to expand on this framework and create new methods and classes.
Below is a short video to showcase our work which was not a requirement for the
project yet was created by us and submitted.
I created this basic fruit machine game shortly before my final exams for
semester one of first year for the course, Multimedia and Compter Games
Development.
This was an extracurricular project that i embarked upon in my spare time.
O.K., so it's not a game. It doesn't even make sence. But it's a
start.
This is the first thing i've ever made in Flash. You control a small
red rectangular character. All walkable areas are blue and these are the
only things you can walk on.
Fall off and you re-spawn at the starting location. You have infinate
lives. More...
Blacky The Cat
A re-make of Little Red (above).
You control a small
black cat. You can only walk on the platforms, don't fall.
I created a health bar, enemy and "Game Over" screen.
For some reason the re-spawn on this one isn't working. You have infinate
lives. More...
Pong Clone
A
clone of the popular Pong game.
You control
the lower paddle. All you have to do is keep the ball on the field of
play. More...
Personal Zombie Game (Text Based)
I created this game before i began my course at University of Limerick,
before i knew anything about c++.
This was an extracurricular project that i embarked upon in my spare time.
This was a group project to design a level for a game and create it using Oblivion's TES Construction Set. In tandem with building the game we had to create a Game Treatment document, a Level Design document, and a comprehensive Final Report.
To install the game, download the .zip file below, extract the files, and place the .esp file in your Oblivion/Data folder. Place the .ess save file in My Documents/MyGames/Oblivion.
