Promotions are calculated using a varying range of criteria which includes:- Time in the guild, character level, donations of items / money to the guild bank, your general level of friendlyness to other guild members & ability to help others.

NEW: Rank switching is no longer allowed. This means that if you have a character that is an Officer but you don't play that character that much any more you cannot have your new Initiate character promoted to Officer & your Officer character demoted to Initiate.

Warning: Do not ask for a promotion as this could hold back any future promotions & (or) result in getting kicked from the guild.

[top] Member Responsibilities

Your main duty is to your fellow guild members.  You must render assistance if at all possible.  New members will be invited by Officers & the Guild Master.

[top] Code of Conduct

All members of the guild must be kind, courteous, and refrain from use of profanity at all times.  Offensive language, intentionally insulting other members or players, rude behavior, etc, may result in diciplinary action up to and including the immediate termination of guild membership.

If a member feels that another member has behaved inappropriately, or has a grievance against another member for some reason, it should be discussed privately and resolved.  If a member cannot or will not discuss the matter privately, they are required to speak with the Guild Master or an Officer.  Publicly discussing a grievance, whether voice chat, guild chat, or otherwise, is stricktly prohibited.  Warning: Failure to follow the guidelines in this paragraph is grounds for dismissal from the guild, at the discretion of the Guild Master.

Priority must be given to guild members when creating groups, distributing extra items, etc, over non-members.  All members are to be considered equal, regardless of rank or station within the guild.  While it is understandable that you would prefer to group with those you know well, remember that it is a violation of our Code of Conduct to behave in a fashion that does not consider the needs of others.  Greed and self-interest are not appropriate attributes for our guild members.

Warning: Under no circumstance will begging for WoW money be permitted within the Guild.  If any member is found to be begging off any person in WoW they will be immediately kicked from the Guild.

While using the guild chat, please refrain from beggining or engaging in a political or religious debate.  This is because many guild members will have many varying opinions in regards to politics & religion & this can result in conflict within the guild.  This can result in the fracture & destruction of our beloved guild.  Should you wish to engage in a political or religious debate, please only do so by first making a group & asking others who wish to participate to join your group.  Use party chat.

Warning:  If you are providing a product or service to another guild member & want to charge for it, then you must agree on the final price before you proceed.  You cannot simply jack up the price near the end of the transaction as this will be a guarenteed way to get yourself kicked from the guild.

[top] Gameplay Rule

All members are encouraged to play World of Warcraft as much as possible, however the Templar Knights guild does NOT require you to commit a certain amount of hours of gameplay per day / week / month, etc.

Also, you must bear in mind that you have a life outside of World of Warcraft.  If you feel that your real life is being affected by an addiction to World of Warcraft, then by all means whisper the Guild Master (Fla) & i will attempt to find a solution / way to help you.  If i discover an online community that deals with WoW addiction i will add the link here.

Warning: However, if any member has not logged on in over a month they will be demoted by one rank every month untill they reach the rank of Initiate. Once you are demoted to Initiate you may be kicked from the Guild at the discretion of the Guild Master or Guild Monarchs.

NEW: If you leave the guild & come back this is fine, however, if you keep leaving & coming back numerous times then you will be reviewed to decide if you should be let back in. If you fail this review you will not be allowed back in & you will be blacklisted.

Templar Knights will maintain a guild treasury for the purpose of funding our expeditions, equipping members in need, purchasing Tabards for all members, and eventually purchasing guild housing when it becomes available.  All members are welcome to donate a portion of their income to the guild treasury whenever it is convenient for them to do so.  All donations are final & cannot be withdrawn should you change your mind later.  Warning:  Asking for your Guild Bank deposit back will slow down or stop any future promotions & could result in you being kicked from the guild.  In order to donate money to the guild you must do the following.

At the teller desk, look to the left or right & you will see a box on the wall.
Click on this box & click Deposit.  Select the amount you wish to deposit.
